Krista King-Fruitland Chamber of Commerce 

Krista King became our Executive Director in early 2020. She is a Fruitland native and comes from a family of business owners. 

Krista attended Boise State University and then moved to California where she worked in the mortgage industry for several years and ran her own mortgage processing business at the age of 26. She then went on to work as an International Sales and Credit Manager for the surfing apparel company REEF. Ready to move back to Idaho and start a family, Krista moved to Meridian in 2010 and worked for the Meridian Chamber and was also the Director of Sales and Marketing for two hotels in Meridian. She has been involved in several local Chambers participating in leadership and ambassador programs and has extensive event management experience helping members with ribbon cuttings, grand openings and hosting an array of events.

Chairman: Ryan Baxter, Modern Auto Service

Ryan Baxter was raised in Fruitland and graduated from Fruitland High School in 2007. He studied Automotive Technology and Business at Brigham Young University with hopes of opening a repair shop in Fruitland. In January 2017 that dream was realized when Ryan and his wife, Juanee, opened Modern Auto Service, a full-service automotive mechanic shop. Ryan is a founding member of the Fruitland Chamber of Commerce and served as our Chairman of the Board previously in 2020 and was elected to serve again in 2023. 


Vice Chair: Cortney Nelson-Valley Family Healthcare 

Cortney Nelson is an Idaho Native, born and raised in Challis, Idaho. She graduated from Challis High School in 2017. She then continued her education at Idaho State University, where she obtained a bachelor's degree in health care administration. She is currently completing her MBA at Western Governors University. 

Cortney’s passion in Healthcare brought her to Fruitland to work for Valley Family Health Care. She is the Pharmacy Program Service Manager for the organization. In her free time, she enjoys, spending time with her family, walking her puppy Benny, snow skiing, waterskiing, and attending concerts.

Secretary: Nancy Lopez-Pro Roofing Idaho

Nancy is a Fruitland native and can’t imagine living and raising her family anywhere else. She is a mom of 2 and her and her husband (Bernie) and own Pro Roofing Idaho. I am the Office Manager of our business and Manager of our home. "I have been a member of the Fruitland Chamber since it started up in 2017 and have served the board for 4 years. "I feel so fortunate to be a part of our Board of Directors. Everyone in the chamber truly cares so much about our small town. This community means so much to me and I will take every opportunity I can to help grow our community into everything it needs to be for our businesses, schools and families."

Treasurer: Anton Neff

Anton previously worked as an Accountant for Accounting NorthWest but decided to become an Electrician recently. He currently works as a Journeyman Electrician by day and an accountant by night. He served on our Board of Directors previously from 2018-2021 and after his electrician training was completed, he came back in 2023 to serve as our Treasurer. 

Board Member: Annie Knudsen, The Prescription Pad

Annie Knudsen currently serves as the Operations and Outreach Specialist for The Prescription Pad Pharmacy. Prior to this role she worked for Albertson’s as a pharmacy technician, district technician coordinator and as one of their region compliance auditors. She now has almost twenty years’ experience in pharmacy and is still very passionate about this field.

Annie is an American Heart Association certified CPR instructor and currently serves on the board of directors for the Idaho Society of Health-System Pharmacists as the technician representative. She has also served as co-chair for St. Luke’s Coalition for Drug Free Youth. She loves her community, loves to teach and loves to be involved.

Annie has spent nearly her entire life in the area. She graduated from Fruitland High School and attended Treasure Valley Community College. She still lives here in Fruitland, now with her husband Judd, son Ole and their two doodles, Barclay and Dobie.

Annie has served on the board of directors since 2017.

Board Member: Ashley Hook-Rogue Credit Union

Ashley Hook is a results-oriented marketing professional with a passion for serving the local community. Born in Missoula, MT and raised in Sun Valley, ID, she holds a BBA in Supply Chain Management from Boise State University. Ashley completed both the Ontario and Fruitland Chamber Leadership Programs and is currently enrolled in Rogue Credit Union's Management School.

Ashley began her career at Malheur Federal Credit Union (MFCU) as a teller. Her exceptional performance led quickly to leadership at the credit union, including oversight of MFCU's Call Center and, later, fostering growth as a Business Development Officer. Following MFCU's merger with Rogue Credit Union, Ashley became a Marketing Coordinator. In this role, she continues to lead regional marketing and community development efforts.

Ashley served on the Treasure Valley Children's Relief Nursery Board for three years. She currently serves as Treasurer of the Payette High School Booster Club and is a member on the Snake River Correctional Institute's Prison Advisory Committee.

Board Member: Dan Reed-Fruitland School District 

Dan Reed is the transportation director for the Fruitland School District and him and his wife own Gem State Custom Apparel. 

Board Member: Ivan Hernandez-Idaho Central Credit Union 

Ivan is from the Weiser area and attended College of Idaho. He is the Business Development Officer for Idaho Central Credit Union. 


Board Member: Tanya Lopez-A.T. Your Service Salon

Tanya is from Ontario and in 2000 she decided to move to Fruitland to raise her children Dalton, Kaylea~Beth and Jolea. She has coached middle school and high school basketball in both her Alma mater and Fruitland over a 16-year span. 

She has been a cosmetologist since 2001 and opened up her own business A.T. Your Service Salon in Fruitland in 2003. Her current location is in beautiful downtown Fruitland.  Where her cute little house has been a salon since any Fruitland native can remember. Many of her clients remember coming in with their grandmother and mother when they were young.

This group of outstanding men and women are all incredibly invested in Fruitland community.  They all are passionate and want to see growth, yet keep the small town feel and safety of our hometown.  I am blessed and honored to work with each and every one of them. I am excited to be able to keep serving our community with our awesome board."

Ex-Officio: Barry Carlman-American Staffing

Barry is currently the Manager and Corporate Risk Manager for American Staffing in Fruitland. He has been in this position since 1995. He has served as a Fruitland Planning and Zoning Commissioner since 2008 and he has been the Chairman since 2015. Barry was an original Fruitland Chamber of Commerce Board Member (1996-2010) and was the Fruitland Chamber President in 1999 and 2000. Once the Fruitland Chamber was reestablished in 2016, he served on the board and then became our Ex-Officio Board Member from 2018-present. Barry is the Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of the Bob McKinney Memorial Scholarship. He also served as a SREDA Board Member from 2010-2014.
